|Home||Racer's beta versions to get to the next full version.|
Welcome to Racer! Racer is a simulation project that has many areas for you to discover. It may be overwhelming a bit, so here is a jumpstart to the directions you can go.
Note that this page is a relatively new path of the Racer documentation, only started around january 2007. The idea is to learn Racer by means of tutorial pages, instead of people having to digest a working process from a bunch of reference guides.
AREAS TO DISCOVER
|Racer gameplay||How to start and control Racer; replays etc.|
|Obtaining more cars and tracks to drive||The download of Racer normally comes with only 1 car and 1 track. Where can you get more?|
Having problems with Racer? To avoid headaches, find out how to deal with your questions. Discover the Racer community on forums.
Every PC is different, and Racer has a number of options to improve the graphics, or to speed things up a little.
|Motion blur & bloom (graphics special effects)||Adding fullscreen shaders (in Cg) for nice fullscreen effects.|
|Using controllers||How to use your wheel, or shifter, with Racer.|
|Building cars and tracks||A lot of Racer users use it to create their own cars and/or tracks. How to start?|
